Soi tried to install older versions, and when i installed the oldest one avaliable the problem was the opposite, the video played but no audio, then i went to see the the reproduction options and i found that the problem started when i installed NDI TOOLS to use SCAN CONVERTER, and the Premiere automatically changed the output to NDI.

Please tell us your system specs: OS version, Premiere version, amount of RAM, Hardware specs including graphics card and tell us your source properties and your sequence settings? Have you tried rendering to see if that allows the video to play?

I think it's a bug with the new version. This happened to me a few times the first couple of days. I also had the issue where I couldn't drag clips into the timeline. I went to one of the preset workspaces and recreated my workspace, which fixed the dragging bug. It may have also fixed my video freezing bug. The easiest fix may be to either go to the beta version, or the previous PP version.

When you freeze and instrument (you make it into audio) the Midi Clips are displayed as audio clips and you can move them for better sync. You can unfreeze then the track and the changes you did remain.

Suggestion:

First, seeing the waveform when you freeze the track.

Second, instead of freezing all the track into one archive, freeze the clips individually in order to being able to move them for better sync (like in Studio One 5). So if you unfreeze the track, your edits are still active.

The reason it would be very handy to render in place a frozen track is simply about saving lots of time. If I have a frozen Piano track, for example the Garritan CFX, which takes quite a while to load up, I could save some time being able to render the track immediately instead of having to unfreeze first and then render.

Overall Cubase complicated this freeze thing quite a bit - all is hidden from you.

In Sonar when you freeze an instrument - you simply get audio on all outs from that instrument - and that can be part of final mix rendering as well.

Adding plugins or whatever is transparent with an instrument running realtime or audio as frozen.

A frozen track is just like any recorded audio.

The last thing I want to have to do to before rendering to audio is click unfreeze on every single track on my arrangement. Exporting to audio is of course another option, but then you have to print the mixer settings (routing, automation, sends etc). I want to preserve the arrangement mix on the rendered audio tracks - which is exactly what render in place offers.

It is essential that I can play audio while the screen is paused or shaded. This was possible on earlier versions but no longer works on MX (v2). This is a MAJOR FLAW! I used this frequently to do listening activities in Spanish classes which is a big part of the course. I also enjoyed being able to play soft music in the background while students had work time. Please fix this!

Is anyone going to address this? Music is an integral part of my teaching and I constantly need to freeze the screen. Even when my smart board is mirroring my chrome book and music is playing on my desktop, it still pauses. It makes the smart board a not so smart board.

Reiterating what Lizzie has stated:

"Has this been addressed?

It is very frustrating not being able to freeze the screen and have music / sound at the same time.

Why does the freeze also mute the sound?"

I'm sure there is a lot on you schedule. But correcting the features shouldn't be that much of an issue for you guys. After a whole year this feedback came up I'd welcome a quick response.

You'd finally enable teachers do their work properly. They can do so much while students are listening to listening tasks, but only when the screen is frozen.

Thanks a lot!

I've worked in a few schools now which have received the new MX Series boards and this is one of the main issues the teachers have brought up. They would regularly freeze the screen with their projector and have some music playing in the background. This is not currently an option on this model however, something to allow for separate media/audio freezing in a future update would be much appreciated.

Oh my gosh, THIS. My school just bought all new boards for our classrooms and it is absolutely mind boggling that there is no way to freeze the screen only. With audio going on and off while we try to work behind the scenes on our computers, our students are constantly being taken out of the learning environment we purposely set up.

Usera welcome the new freeze and blanking funtionality on the V2 displays. However they actually required the audio to pass through unmuted, as it does/did on the 6000 series. In all classrooms the display is now the only audio playback device and there are many times when it is required to display content, or indeed nothing, to the students but still playback an audio file to them. Please address this urgently in a Firmware update.

It would be useful if not vital in some cases i.e. listening exams, to be able to freeze the image from the PC on the Interactive Display without muting the audio. This is possible on the 6000 series but not the 7000.

Obelisk makes it effortless to write chord progressions and explore new harmonies for your melodic lines. This VST/AU plugin transforms each MIDI note that you play into a harmony that (optionally) matches the key and scale of your track.

Music theory knowledge is not required. The structure of the harmony is created by selecting intervals on the right of the GUI, or by loading up one of the many chord presets. By pressing a few notes on your keyboard, you can create the harmonic basis of your new track.

Included are 42 presets featuring both realistic ways of using strings, as well as diverse sound design. This product is the dead-simple solution for adding warm, delicate, atmospheric tones to your track; either by itself or alongside other string libraries.

FrozenPlain makes sample libraries and audio plugins for composers, producers, musicians and sound designers. Our goal is to help you make great music. To that end, we value being straightforward and transparent. We hate battling with long checkouts, complicated licence keys and bad user interfaces.

Describe your issue:

At rehearsal last Tuesday, after a couple of hours of play, I started to get a loud buzz from the device. I swiped down to check the settings and tap the ground lift. At that point I get a loud screeching and the unit freezes. I had to manually turn my board power off. When it rebooted the screen was still frozen (with the patch setting showing) and I could not input anything. I rebooted several times and was finally able to get the screen to come back and usable. A few minutes later the screen freezes again. Multiple reboots to get usable device again.

Does the input level increase if you plug in an XLR cable without turning on the monitor it is plugged into? Just want to eliminate possible coupling/feedback from the monitor as the culprit for increasing the input level.

I have confirmed that the wireless bypass setup as shown in the attached Temple Audio diagram is causing the input level bump when connecting the xlr inputs. Still have not had another occurrence of the frozen screen.

Frozen Fire From the time I put the CD Frozen Fire into my CD player until I finished the story, I was truly engrossed in its entiretry from beginning to end! It truly was as though I had actually been not only transported back in to a time far distant from mine, but also as though I was right next to each of the characers and the struggles they were facing in every crisis. It gave me a much greater perspective of the struggles these people faced in the days when a dreadful disease such as smallpox could wipe out entire communities. Dr. Jenner was truly a man of God working to help cure the people rather than taking their money. I have recommended this CD for both adult and child.

Outstandingly Done! Another stellar production from Lamplighter! Though intended primarily for young audiences, the audio version will hold the attention of a 50 year old quite well. ? My adult children and my youngest ones not only enjoyed the story, but profited greatly from the Biblical truth and wisdom so powerfully conveyed.

Frozen Fire CD This is a wonderful audio drama of a true story, and worth having as one of our choices for entertainment. We are thankful for Lamplighter bringing this product to fruition!

Excellent This is another great book that captivated my entire family! That includes high school age and a 6 year old! The lessons are so well taught. There is little discussion needed. Thanks, LAMPLIGHTER!

Favorite of Many! Frozen Fire is one of a handful of Lamplighter Theater favorites. We recognized elements of suspense and delightful surprise throughout. We have also gifted this to families of elementary aged kids and they have loved as well. Awesome to hear of such a wonderful true story! Highly recommend!

Frozen Fire I borrowed this audio drama from our local library, which has a few Lamplighter CDs! I listened to it and bought it as a gift for my sister and her family. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did. All of your audio dramas are brilliantly written, acted, and keep us longing for more of the stories. Thank you very much.
