I saw some persons are calling RDB a copycat and according to them L-P have always given original music. Have you ever noticed background scoers? RD has always given excellent background music rather than lifting from music bank. he has used typical tune for Babu (Amitabh in 2nd role) in Satte pe satta. LP have blindly copid this tune for Vinod Khanna in Insaaf. (if you dont belive, watch both movies again).
Same way the tune RD has used in Arjun has been copied by L-P in Hum for Amitabh (Tiger) and still the effect is missing in Insaaf and Hum. listen to RD background score in Shakti (where he has played same tune in different moods between Big B and DIlip Kumar). In Saagar also he has used three different tunes for Rishi , Dimple and Kamal Hasan. Nobody can give background music like RD has given in Saagar, Samundar, Shakti or The Burning Train. Now come to the songs part. Some of the Gems he has given in flop movies - Aisa sama na hota (zameen aasman), Hum tum hum do rahi (Yeh to Kamal ho gaya), Machal machal jata hai dil (Raam tere kitne naam), Kaisi lag rahi hoonn main (Jootha Sach). L-P can never give any of this songs.
