Summer Challenge @ the Inglewood Branch Library
We have a variety of special programs planned for all ages. In addition to our fabulous story times for preschoolers and infants, we will be offering arts and crafts, creative writing, music, science, movies. Each week we will post the activities for the coming week, so stay tuned!
Monday, June 17 @ 10am, repeated at 11am -- Wonder Baby! Story Time for Infants and Toddlers up to 24 months old.
Monday, June 17 @ 6pm -- -Writing: Getting Started with the Porch Writer’s Collective (Adults)
Tuesday, June 18 @ 2pm -- Writing Scary Stories with the Porch Writer’s Collective (ages 8-18)
Wednesday, June 19 @ 10:30am -- Preschool Story Time for children 2-5 years old with Mr. Andrew
Wednesday, June 19 @ 2pm -- Mid-week Movie Matinee: Wall-E
Thursday, June 20 & June 27 @ 5:30pm -- Knitting 101 (part 1 of a 2 part class -- Plan to attend both sessions) [We still had 4 slots available as of Saturday, June 15 -- to register call 615-862-5866] (Teens and Adults)
Friday, June 21 @ 10am -- Let’s Get Crafty!: Carve It! We will use Plaster of Paris blocks and plastic tools to carve a simple sculpture. (ages 6-10)
Saturday, June 22 @ 11am -- Songwriting Workshop with Michael Anderson (Adults)
Saturday, June 22 @ 2pm -- DIY T-Shirt Scarves [We still had slots available as of Saturday, June 15 -- to register call 615-862-5866] (Teens and Adults)
