Summer Challenge @ the Inglewood Branch Library

We have a variety of special programs planned for all ages.  In addition to our fabulous story times for preschoolers and infants, we will be offering arts and crafts, creative writing, music, science, movies.  Each week we will post the activities for the week, so stay tuned!

Friday, July 5 @ 10:00am -- Let’s Get Crafty! features Make Your Own Alien with Turnip Green.  Using Found objects and a bit imagination, kids ages 6-10 will create space aliens!

Monday, July 8 @ 10am & 11am -- Wonder Baby! story time for infants up to 24 months with Mr. Andrew

Monday, July 8 @ 6:30pm -- Are you interested in writing poetry? Then come wo this fun workshop, Poetry: The Art of Getting Messy presented by the Porch Writer’s Collective  (Adults)

Wednesday, July 10 @ 10:30am -- Preschool Story Time for children 2-5 years old.  Mr. Andrew welcome musical group The Sock Rockerz!

Wednesday, July 10 @ 2pm -- Mid-week Movie Matinee: Muppets from Space

Friday, July 12 @ 10am -- Let’s Get Crafty!: Paint with Marbles.  (ages 6-10)

Saturday, July 13 @ 10:30am -- The library’s Puppet Truck will present The Rabbit Who Wanted Red Wings.

Remember to sign up for Summer Challenge and record your minutes!  We have prizes for reading and weekly drawings.  You can win if you don’t register.
