Hi Everyone,

First off, miss you all terribly. Second, here is why I'm emailing you:

My past PR Committee still does this from time to time and we call it Life Updates. We start a thread (like this) to update the whole committee on what we have been up to recently and where we are in life. It's nice to hear from everyone and a great way to catch up a little bit on where everyone has ended up.

I'll get started and you better all follow.... OR ELSE.

Currently I am working for Octagon. It is a super cool partially sports marketing agency based out of CT. However, I am on a temporary travel position so I am traveling all over all summer to market BMWs. It's super fun. I've been in FL since the middle of May and eventually I will end up in AL, LA, AR, MS, VA, MD, and PA. (Philly people I think i'll be close to you. Which means I'm coming to visit. And if anyone is in any of the other states you better tell me.)

Aside from that I don't do much since I'm constantly on the road. My team is cool and we spend a lot of time at the beach or the bar. I also have a new-ish boyfriend, his name is Matt. He's pretty cool and I think you guys would like him.

That's pretty much it for me right now. Your turn!!

xoxoxo

Hello everyone:

Great idea, Hannah. Miss you all (well, not you, Jess). I'll go next.

I'm currently writing from Mississauga, Ontario, eh (about 10 minutes outside Toronto) where I am for work for this week and next. I'm working with EY in Risk Advisory (it's just as exciting as it sounds) based out of Philadelphia. I've gotten to travel to Altoona, Buffalo, Boca Raton, Chicago, Charleston (SC), and now Toronto as I've been traveling just about every week since I started work in August. Traveling can be a little taxing (accounting humor?), but it's pretty great to see some other places on the firm's dime. I also have a blog (withaph.weebly.com) that you've probably see me tweet about. I post every Thursday (it's a lot of sports, but I occasionally write about something else if something else comes up). It's just a way for me to do something other than work, Netflix, and PlayStation.

I still live at home (trying to save some money / pay off student loans), so I probably don't go out in Philly nearly as much as I should simply because when I get back from traveling, it's hard to motivate myself to do something outside of my house. I think I'm about to get staffed on a local project though, so Philly people, you may actually get to see me a little bit more often.

As I said, miss you all. Hope to see you guys soon.

Love,
Rocchi Sparkles

HI!

This is a great idea! I'm so happy to hear from you guys. I want updates from each of you - where you're working, living, who you're dating, etc.

Hannah/Rocchi - your lives sound extremely interesting/adventurous. I'm super jealous.

Things have been going well with me. I'm pretty much always busy with work, with a normal day looking like 8:30-7. But I really don't mind it for the most part. I've been really lucky to be on great teams with really cool people and I love that everyone at PwC is so young. It makes it a billion times easier to get through the work. Similar to Rocchi, I'm basically never in the office, but unlike Rocchi, I mainly travel locally. 90% of my clients are in the Philly suburbs, which has been really convenient since I'm living at home right now. BUT, I do get to travel to Seattle, Portland and Boston in the next two weeks, so that should be pretty cool. If any of you have any recommendations for places I should see (restaurants I should eat), let me know!

I've passed three parts of the CPA - need to pass one more and then I promise the world that I will never study for another thing again. :) I'm also planning on going to Chicago for Lollapalooza this summer and Europe in the fall. AND planning on moving into Center City in October.

I love going out in Philly and always have a blast. The summer really rocks here. Hunter is a great tour guide/always knows cool places to go. The most freaking social person I've ever met. Also, Ellie lives here now (although she has yet to see me) and Rocchi promises to come out sometimes, so, come visit us. Maybe for Made in America? We bribed Ashley and Mick into coming. So...yeah ;)

Anyway, look forward to hearing from you guys. Hope everyone is doing well!

Love and miss ya a whole bunch,
Jen

Hi Everybody!!!

I'm so happy we're doing this! It gives me a great break from my super demanding work schedule (LOL).

Since August I have been living/working in Philly for PwC in Healthcare Consulting, specifically Risk and Compliance. It's great because I love rules and stuff. Unlike Rochi and Jen, I have not been traveling at all or working crazy hours. I really lucked out and magically got placed in this super specific group that does most of their work out of the office and has budgeted and timed everything out perfectly so I'm usually "working" about 40 hours a week at the most. (So try not to feel too bad for me).

For those of you that have not started work yet, the biggest piece of advice I can give you is this: Kick ass at your job. When you're there devote your energy and always have a positive attitude. BUT never live to work. Your career should be important to you but not define you. Once you start getting money do fun stuff, meet new people, explore, experience and never stop pushing out the edges of your comfort zone.

With that mantra in mind, I have been putting in a huge effort to stay busy from a social side. I live in Rittenhouse with my two best friends from high school. For those of you who haven't been to my apartment yet, you're behind and need to visit. And for those of you who haven't met my roommates, the three of us make the most inappropriate, crazy, dysfunctional crew you'll ever meet (and I say that out of love). Besides that I have been traveling like crazy visiting people (NYC, Baltimore (Hey Mick), DC, the shore, etc.) I booked my flight and got my tickets for Lollapalooza in Chicago in August (Hi Jen), and incepted Ash and Mick to come to Made in America Labor Day weekend.

I have made a ton of awesome new friends and probably been a little bit too social / gone out a little bit too much (totally worth, we're only young once right?) and I've been trying to spend my money on cool things that make me an interesting person: I'm teaching myself the piano, cooking lessons, sky diving license, stock investing, traveling, etc.

Everyone should come visit, especially because Ellie and I now live a block away from each other.

Miss you all.

XO,
Hunter

Hi frandz,

So I'm not as exciting as all of you guys! I'm officially at my 3rd week of work in the real world!! I'm a fitness specialist for the FBI and department of Commerce (yay business people) where I manage the corporate fitness staff, train the FBI which is pretty cool in crossfit style workouts, teach 2 to 3 workout classes like tabata and spin everyday so I'm literally exhausted when I come home.

I'm living in a big girl place in Arlington so if anyone wants to visit DC, hit a girl up or if you wanna hang out because I don't know many people!

I'm training currently for a tough mudder, and a go ruck (it's a 24 hour fitness challenge with the special ops so I hope I make it out alive) and I recently did a murph with my xfit gym at penn state!

So basically I'm a boring gym rat!

Love ya

Jess

Hiya guys,

It's great to hear from all of you! Like most of the recent graduates, I don't have too much to update you all on. In mid-August I start work with PwC in their Private Sector Practice in Washington, D.C. Basically, I'll be doing similar work to Hunter but contracting with government agencies to improve the work that they do day-in and day-out.

With a few members of 2014's Executive Committee, I plan on moving to Arlington, VA in the beginning of August (hi Jess. Christine?).

In the meantime, I've just been trying to enjoy my summer like the rest of you. I was recently on vacation with my family and will be traveling to Sea Isle this weekend. If any of you happen to be down the shore, let me know!

Hope to hear from you guys soon!

Love and miss,

Hiya beautiful people :)

So I'm pretty sure that after Hunter's little bit there, all our lives look pretty damn boring.  So thanks for that bittie.  Next we're making you go last.

I am currently writing ya'll from Bar Harbor, ME where I'm spending some time at Kidney Camp with a bunch of other med students from all over the place.  Think of it like summer camp for super nerdy kids.  It's pretty cool though if you're into that kind of stuff, and you get to meet a bunch of great docs/scientists who are our "counselors" in a way.  For example, today I went on a 20 mile bike ride with the Chair of Medicine at Harvard (fun fact - the man is NOT at all in shape looking, but he can really truck it on a mountain).

I officially finished up my first year of med school last week.  Let me tell you, if you think time flies in undergrad, life as a graduate student goes even faster.  Mostly I spent my time studying and trying to go the gym.  Super exciting life I lead, I know. Mostly it's just crazy to think about how much I've learned in a year and that I'm 1/4 of the way to being able to prescribe people drugs and cut them open and stuff.  Unreal.

Other than that, this is my last summer off and I'm spending it doing research with this lab in CVille.  I won't bore you with the details of what I actually do, but every Friday we have journal club from 4-5 and my boss brings beer and we just sit and drink and talk science.  It's a pretty sweet deal.

Hopefully I'll have way better things to tell you guys about in the future.  Miss you all!!  Let's keep these updates coming!

xx

Hi dudes!

So happy to hear what everyone's up to! Thanks Hannah - love dis! :)

I'm currently typing this from my balcony in Kona, HI, so that's a bit exciting. It's truly gorgeous here. My parents and I have been loving all the naturey things here. Today we went hiking that overlooks the northern tip of the big island and a valley that was in Jurassic park.

Other than that, I'm bumming it at home until moving into my apartment in NYC (sup case) in august with two of my best friends from school. I'm doing actuarial consulting for Deloitte there, and I'll most likely be traveling four days a week like Rocchi (but for a better company 😜...). I'm super excited to move there and everyone is welcome to visit me (PLZ) and I am planning on visiting Philly/DC/Boston (CJ the human is moving there) on the reg. but not Baltimore (f you mick <3).

My dog CJ is doing quite well, we hang out all the time. I know you were all wondering. Ben is meh.

Hope everyone is having a great summer! Miss yous. Here are some pics from the big island to make yall jeal.

Peace, love, fin forever,
Ash

Hey guys,

It's so good to hear from everyone!  I miss you all!  Like everyone who just graduated, I've just been kinda waiting around until work starts.  Mainly, I've been doing work around my families' houses, but every once in a while I make it down to Pittsburgh to have some fun (anyone in the 'burgh?).

As Ashley said, I will be moving to Boston in less than a month (July 5th).  I'll be working for a company called FAST Enterprises as an Implementation Consultant.  I'm super excited about moving to Boston, and you are all welcome to visit me at any time.  I also plan on visiting the NYC, Philly, and DC areas to see everyone whenever I can.

That's about it.  I'm still the least interesting person in the world.

One Love,
Ceej

Hey!

Miss you guys! It's nice to hear that everyone is doing well in the real world (from a young-in its encouraging).

I am currently interning in Fairfax, VA (near DC) for a global financial services group called The Wolf Group doing good ole' tax.  (Shoutout to Ellie who interned with the same company a couple years back) Soooo Jess let's hang out.  I just started this week and its been fun! Weird to have my first job, job.

In other news, I'm FINALLY turning 21 in 21 days (hehe) so I'm super excited to be able to actually go out with you guys (Artsfest?).  Other than that, still got two years left at State, debating my next move for the next two years and thinking about going back abroad at some point during my last two years for a semester!

That's about all, but I hope to see you all soon! Let me know if any of you are around DC at all this summer!

Hi everyone!!

I'm currently in Peru right now waiting for my train to Machu Picchu and watching two alpacas hump each other on the hotel lawn. I'm pretty sleep deprived (spending just as many nights on busses as in hostels) and my legs aren't functioning after a 6 hour down 3 hour hike up the second deepest canyon in the world. But other than that I'm having an amazing time here. It's the first time I took more than two days of PTO from work and it's nice to get to share this adventure with my boyfriend.

Work itself is pretty boring. Not sure what I was thinking being a tax accountant, but it's not that bad I guess. My roommate Betsy and I are moving from the fairmount ( art museum) area of Philly to 15th and south street next week. We have a pretty awesome roof deck so all are invited.

Anyways, it is so great to hear from everyone and I miss you all lots! Seems like a ton of people are in DC, and considering I'm there at least once a month, I would love to see you all soon!!

Omgsh hi my favorite forest green friends!

It seriously is amazing to hear that you guys are doing such incredible things in undergrad and postgrad life. WOOOP WOOOP for everyone being employed and basically running the finance world/BMW (got you Han)  It sounds like everyone is doing big things, so proud of y'all!

Also want to apologize for sporadic happy Fridays, I know I haven't been doing to great with them but work has been a little crazy.

I'm currently at work on my lunch break, I'm working at Quarry Hill Elementary School in the special ed kindergarten room, and it's kindergarten graduation this afternoon & I have 6 more school days left :) weeee! And then I have a week off until summer school. However, I have off on Fridays so Anyone on the northeast corridor (holla at you DC, Baltimore, NYC) peeps, you're going to have a visitor!

After this school year, I'll be moving to Chicago in August, to go to grad school for Occupational Therapy (shoutout to Sue for helping me through those interview stress).

So, if anyone ever wants to come visit or has Chi-town recommendations, send them my way!

Besides work I've been running a lot, just completed the Broad St 10miler in Philly last month, and I plan on getting a triathlon done this year. I've also been able to do really cool stuff with my Bible study, and with The Stand (NYC's Dance Marathon haaay FTK HAAAY) and have LOVED having a bunch of FIN friends in Philly :) I'm going to do the Zoo Balloon and some other awesome things this summer so join. sorry I dont see you guys as much as I should ! :(

I think that's it so far ?

Love you more than you know, keep being incredible!

Hey everyone!

This is a cool idea Hannah! It's great to see everyone's doing well! Can't believe I've been out of Penn State for over a year already.

I'm pretty much doing identical work to Rocchi (and almost everyone else for that matter) doing consulting work for Deloitte in NYC focusing on financial services firms, so I won't bore you with that. I too have had some opportunities to travel to Charlotte, Dallas, Chicago, and Minneapolis (which is freezing by the way) for work. Now luckily I'm working on a client site in the financial district so less travel for me! And a lot more happy hours:) I too am still living at home near the Bronx trying to save some money since I was traveling so much.

On a more fun note I went to a Stanley Cup game this past week, unfortunately it was Game 3 but it's still the Stanley Cup. I just finished booking my first cruise to the Caribbean with some of my high school friends. And I'm also apart of a summer share house in Belmar, New Jersey with some friends so if you are ever at the shore let me know!

I think that's all for now. Hope to hear from everyone soon!

Hey everyone!! :)

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. This girl has been living the DC life and is loving it. Just like Jen said, working 8:30-7 is just the new norm and you start to get excited when you leave work and the sun hasn't set yet haha. I work with a bunch of really great teams and all of my clients are in the DC/VA area, so it's not bad at all. And to top that, my two main clients are really tech-y and chill, so I get to wear jeans to work everyday... hard life I know. Oh and the baby interns come in this week, EEK can't wait :)

Besides that real work stuff, I'm on a flag football and volleyball intermural team which is super fun and are all downtown DC. I also have been super into working out and eating better lately, so this little hobby called Beachbody Coaching has totally taken off and I love it. I'm actually getting ready to go to Vegas Wednesday for a Beachbody Conference and a little bit of fun :) I couldn't be more excited, so prepare yourself for the inflow of selfies to all forms of social media.

Would love to see any of you traveling around this area in the summer, definitely a great time! Love hearing from all of you!

Hi everyone!!

I miss you all tons and I hope to see all your beautiful faces at Arts Fest! So, there's not much going on in my life right now since I'm taking the summer off and starting my job September 5 at Boeing in Philly (yay all Philly people let's hang!!!) I'm also really excited because I finally bought myself my very own car! It's a 2011 Nissan Rogue.

As for my summer, I am going back to Colorado (because we all know how obsessed I am with Colorado) to visit all my friends from last summer at the end of July and we're going to go camping. I'm so excited I can't wait to be back there, even if it is only for 5 days. I'm also going on my trip to France and Italy for 3 weeks in August with my aunt and cousin so I cannot wait for that!

So glad everyone is doing well! Love you all!

Hello everyone!!

It has been great to hear from everyone and to see you are all doing well!!

I have been working at PwC since last August in the Florham Park, NJ office. It has been going pretty good so far! I am pretty lucky because I only have 1 client and we are there everyday, so I have my own desk there which makes it pretty nice. I was also able to pass all 4 parts of the CPA exam over last summer and into November!!

Outside of work, I moved in with my girlfriend, Alex, in Cranford NJ back in September. And we got a dog together! His name is Marshall and he is a shih tzu, I attached some pictures in a separate email so it would send!

Other than that, I have just been trying to enjoy the weekends. I never got a chance to visit PSU this year, but I am hoping I can make it to Artsfest! Also, I am going on vacation this Saturday to D.C.! So if anyone is around, I am getting there on Saturday and staying until Wednesday!

It has been great to hear from you all!! I can't wait to hear more soon!!

Hey everyone!!

It's so good hearing from all of you and your lives!  I am currently living at home in jersey and commuting to the shore where I work for an energy company called New Jersey Resources.  I schedule natural gas through interstate pipelines to different customers.  I am loving it and the people I work with are awesome which is a plus.  Hopefully this winter/before next summer I'll be moving to the shore and hopefully have a house a couple blocks so you are all welcome whenever! My job suprisingly has some traveling involved which i didn't expect.  I was able to go to Houston, Texas and Florida for some customer meetings.

On a personal note, I just got back from Bonnaroo in Tennessee which is 4 day music festival. Jen and Hunter, I've been to Lollapalooza and its awesome and a great time.  Have so much fun!!  I went to California for the first time in the fall to visit a friend which was a nice place.  I have been on weekends visiting philly and NYC alot since i live midway between there and my hometown is pretty boring haha.  I also like michelle just bought a new mini cooper that I'm in love with and it drove great down to tennessee this weekend!

Hope to see you all real soon!
Diana

Hey everybody!

This is such a great idea, I love hearing how everyone is doing and what they've been up to! I'm currently living in Pittsburgh, I have two more weeks until I start my real life adult job as a Land Representative at Chevron. Basically, I'll be managing assets in the Pennsylvania/West Virginia areas and securing legal rights so that the land can be drilled on. Marcellus Shale, we're coming for ya.

Besides that I've just been bouncing back and forth between Pittsburgh and State College, doing fun stuff like going to concerts (went to Backstreet Boys last weekend, it was amazing...going to Luke Bryan this weekend, should be just as good) and training for a Tough Mudder  in August.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, can't wait to see all of you beautiful people over Arts Fest!!!

Peace and blessins,
Maddie

Hello everyone!

Its so great to hear about all of the cool things everybody is up to! As for me, I still live at home (and love it... duh, Rudy), and I am in the process of applying for Physician Assistant Programs and Accelerated Nursing Programs. Its been terribly stressful, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel finally, and I am looking forward to being done. I have also been working as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital, and I really love it! It took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, but I'm happy to finally be on the right track.

Aside from all of that, I just got back from a EuRo vacation with Ryan, and it was AWESOME. We went to Dublin, Amsterdam, and London for a  total of two weeks. Amsterdam was my favorite, but I loved every single city we visited. I'm missing it already, but happy I have more summer adventures to look forward to. For all of you people at the Jersey Shore, I will be in Sea Isle City for the last week of July, and I tend to make quite a few weekend appearances in Ocean City throughout the rest of the summer!

Love you guys!
