Subject: Random Acts of Kindness campaign
To: little-boother...@googlegroups.com

I am taking a class where I had to create violence awareness, but instead I am starting a random acts of kindness campaign and I was wondering if you guys can help me out! I created an E-mail and would appreciate it if you can forward it to your other committees or captains and have them pass it on! I am trying to make this big and if i know any people who can help make it big, it is you guys! So please forward this to all of the penn state people you know! Frats, sororities, other orgs, anyone! AND FOLLOW @PSUACTSKIND!

THANK YOU!

HEY EVERYONE!!

PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY PENN STATE’S RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS CAMPAIGN

#PSUACTSKIND @PSUACTSKIND.

My name is Danielle Rubino and I am a student here at Penn State. I am taking Nursing 245, which is a class about violence and the impact on society. We have a semester long project where we are supposed to spread violence awareness, and I have taken sort of the opposite approach and I will briefly explain why!

I am from Sandy Hook, CT and after the tragedy my town started the 26 random acts of kindness for each angel we had lost. And instead of trying to scare people off about what happens in the world, I want to change it and start our own Penn State’s Random Acts of Kindness Campaign, but I need YOUR help.

Here is what you have to do:

-Follow me on Twitter @PSUACTSKIND (or search PSU Acts of Kindness)

-Do a random act of kindness; it can be ANYTHING from helping a person who looks like they need a hand, to buying a random person in line a Starbucks a coffee!

- When you do this random act of kindness, tell the person about the campaign to spread the word and hopefully your kindness has rubbed off on them creating a domino effect, which will have them perform an act of kindness too.

-Then tweet about it and tell me how it goes! Or have them tweet about it!

I will be doing 26 Random Acts of Kindness in honor of Sandy Hook, who will you be dedicating your acts of kindness to?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP! KINDNESS INSPIRES KINDNESS!

FACT: Today, up to 75% of the children with cancer can be cured, yet some forms of childhood cancers have proven so resistant to treatment that, in spite of research, a cure is still elusive.
