OSMOSAIC
Après plusieurs années de fréquentations plus ou moins espacées, deux amis se retrouvent un soir d’automne, histoire de partager quelques accords et un simple repas. Ils discutent musique et s’échangent quelques réflexions sur mille et un projets. Quelques mois plus tard, ils jetteront les bases d’Osmosaïc. Ce duo est formé de Mario Landry et Viviane Lamy. Leur musique fortement axée sur les guitares acoustiques et les harmonies vocales se promène entre la chanson et le folk progressif aux accents celtiques, médiévaux et arabisants. www.osmosaic.com

Sinking Neptune est une deconstruction théâtrale de la première pièce écrite dans "le Nouveau Monde". Cette pièce écrite par Marc Lescarbot en 1606 s'intitule "Le théâtre de Neptune" et Le Laboratoire de théâtre optatif en dénonce le racisme et l'ethnocentrisme à l'occasion notamment du 400ème de Québec. www.optative.net/neptune.o

Les saints sont en marche mais ont été flingués par des agents déguisés en ours en peluche. Superman se came dans l'allée et essaie d'oublier. Combien de temps encore vont-ils tuer nos profits tandis qu'on reste à l'écart et qu'on pleure chez nos comptables? Nous voulons plus de coffeeshops. Et quoi, alors, à propos de ces chaussures ? C'est la dernière saison de l'esclavage. Je veux une voiture qui fonctionne au sang de cochons clonés et au maïs de Monsanto. Combien de spectacles pour ce long trajet, bébé ? C'est si chiant d'avoir à penser. Allons magasiner... pour trouver un gilet pare-balles. Dis moi quoi faire et je ferai semblant de le faire. Je triche avec ton idolâtrie. My performance is is not about re-telling a story but creating an experience which we share together. I wish to explore the intersections where we all collide, where I meet you and where we meet them. This performance is a surreal adventure which involves one woman, one washing line and one pair of used long johns.
