" L'éloge de la paresse " est une "non-action" performative de rue qui vient parasiter le rythme effréné de nos mégalopoles en proposant un arrêt dans la ville. Dans un hamac arrimé au mobilier urbain, un paresseux se prélasse, anesthésié par l'agitation du lieu.

Le réalisateur Carlos Ferrand propose un road-movie à travers les Amériques, de la Patagonie jusqu’à l’Arctique, en passant par le Chili, le Mexique, les Etats-Unis... Dans ce périple personnel, à la fois poétique, anthropologique et engagé, il “prend le pouls des Amériques”en questionnant les bouleversements sociaux, politiques et culturels qui se vivent aujourd’hui du nord au sud de ce continent. Il donne la parole aux hommes et aux femmes avec lesquels il s’est lié d’amitié au cours de 30 ans de vagabondages. Karen Gaudreau et Amélie Touzel se sont rencontrées au Tremplin de Dégelis en 2002. C’est à partir de ce moment qu’elles ont formé le duo Gaudreau-Touzel. Après une prestation aux Divas du Québec en 2003, une tournée en première partie de Dumas, sur le réseau ROSEQ à l’été 2005, quelques petits shows ici et là, elles se concentrent maintenant sur l’écriture d’un premier album, à paraître bientôt... www.myspace.com/gaudreautouzel

Director Carlos Ferrand proposes a road movie through the Americas, from Patagonia to the Arctic, passing through Chile, Mexico, the United States. In this personal, at the same time poetic, anthropological and activist tour, he “takes the pulse of the Americas,” questioning social, political and cultural upheavals, which exist today from north to south on this continent. He gives voice to men and women he has developed a friendship with over 30 years of wandering.
