TIME: Meet 7:30 AM, Roll 8:00 AM from 7th Street/Metro Center using A (Blue) Line; Roll 9:00 AM from Downtown Long Beach Station 

START LOCATIONS: 7th Street/Metro Center and Downtown Long Beach Station 

END LOCATIONS: San Clemente Pier Station and Los Angeles Union Station

This is a formal notification of a 57-mile long, 2,300-feet high coastal inspection of selected current and former fishing and pleasure piers. The purpose of this inspection is to explore manmade structures in the littoral zone. Please plan accordingly as we will be doing some island-hopping along the way. Lights, bike, and swimming attire all highly recommended. 

Be aware that this inspection’s rolling time is a hard deadline as this is when our A (Blue) Line train will leave the station. The inspection will commence at the Downtown Long Beach Station if you would rather meet us there. We will stop for lunch before ending the ride at San Clemente Pier Station where we will take the Orange County Metrolink train at 5:47 PM to go straight back to Union Station. The Bureau highly recommends downloading the official Metrolink app to easily purchase digital train tickets.
