DATE: Saturday, August 26, 2023 TIME: Meet 6:30 AM, Roll 7:00 AM using Amtrak Pacific Surfliner from Union Station; Roll 12:00 PM from Chicano Park START LOCATIONS: Los Angeles Union Station and San Diego Chicano Park END LOCATIONS: Tijuana Silenus Tap Room and San Diego Santa Fe Depot

This is a formal notification of a feeder inspection ride to the @loscruzadores transborder group bike ride. The purpose of this inspection is to explore the binational nature of the southern end of the Southern California megalopolis. Please plan accordingly as there will be many chance encounters along the way. Lights, spare tubes, cash, lock, light jacket, and passport all highly recommended. 

 Be aware that this inspection’s rolling time is a hard deadline as this is when our Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train will depart Union Station. The @loscruzadores ride will commence at Chicano Park if you would rather meet us there. There will be multiple stops along the way to Silenus Tap Room in Tijuana. The Bureau highly recommends downloading the official Amtrak app to easily purchase digital train tickets and reserve a space for your bike on the train. Also be aware that due to the long duration and international nature of the ride led by @loscruzadores, the Bureau will expect to catch the return Amtrak Pacific Surfliner back to Los Angeles at 4:00 AM the next day after resting at @tacoselgordo_ in Chula Vista since the last Amtrak train back to Los Angeles on Saturday is at 9:00 PM.
