Here is a display of the last 24 hours of infrasound 
monitored near Waynesboro, VA


Each line of the display is one hour, and most of the detections are 
caused by freight trains passing about 100m away.  The display 
updates every 5 minutes.  Wind is the most common background
noise.  

My infrasound monitors have been used for monitoring wind turbines,
volcanoes, large animals (rhinos, elephants, giraffes), avalanches,
paranormal events, cryptobiology, etc.

My monitor uses a micro-barometer type sensor with a +/- 25 Pascal
differential pressure sensor, and a resolution of 0.001 Pascal.  The
data logger uses AmaSeis seismic software.  The bandwidth is
0.05Hz to 20Hz.
