About medical tests:

I think this info is relevant to post here...

U will get a mail from Infy 40 days before DOJ abt Medical Tests
Mails also specifies the list of hospitals where u need to take the tests.
It will cost around Rs.850/-
Medical Tests are compulsory.
Medical tests
1.HIV
2.HBsAg [Hepatitis]
3.Urine Test
4.Blood Test
5.Chest X-Ray
6.Typhoid
7.Stool Test
After tests they will give u Reports of all tests and a medical certificate.
Infy would have informed them in advance. So u need not explain which tests and all.
So don't worry about that.
While going to hospital take a copy of Offer Letter.

NSR or National skills registry is a database of details of the IT Professionals (ITPs) as entered by them and background check information on the same. It includes personal, academic and employment details of individuals employed / to be employed (ITPs) in the IT and ITeS industry. Every ITP registered in NSR is identified uniquely by finger-prints. The database also have the photograph of the ITP.
More its a stupid database for infy to keep tabs on all ur infomn
