Thank you for your email. Please accept this as confirmation that your correspondence has been received. Due to the volume of queries we are receiving we are unable to provide individual confirmation of receipt.

Correspondence related to the UK Maritime Services Prohibition on Russian Oil and the Oil Price Cap exception should be redirected to: oilprice...@hmtreasury.gov.uk

We are unable to comment on future sanctions and designations.

For general enquiries, you should consult the following guidance:

If your enquiry is related to your obligations in regards to financial sanctions, including sanctions placed against Russia, please consult OFSI’s Financial Sanctions guidance
If your enquiry relates to whether someone has financial sanctions placed against them, please consult the Financial sanctions targets: list of all asset freeze targets
If your enquiry is related to licences that allow activity prohibited by financial sanctions, you may find the guidance helpful as well as the list of general licences
If your enquiry is related to the UK Maritime Services Prohibition on Russian Oil and the Oil Price Cap exception, you may find this guidance useful.

Due to the significant increase in queries, we are only able to respond to queries which aren't answered by the above guidance. If not covered by the guidance, we will aim to respond within 2 weeks.

If you are submitting a licence request, we aim to review all new licensing applications as soon as practicable. We will prioritise cases at times of high demand and in particular, where there are issues of personal basic needs and/or wider humanitarian issues at stake which are of material impact or urgency, or which are deemed to be of particular strategic, economic or administrative importance. If there are particular aspects of your application that you believe make your case especially urgent, please set these out clearly in your application for our consideration. Licences that allow activity prohibited by financial sanctions

Please be aware that it is an offence, for the purpose of obtaining a licence, to knowingly or recklessly provide information which is false in a material respect, or to provide or produce documentation which is not what it purports to be.

If you are submitting a compliance reporting form concerning a suspected designated person, frozen assets, or suspected breach, please take this email as receipt of your correspondence. If you are reporting frozen funds, please note the value of the frozen assets held must be included in the next frozen assets review, in autumn 2023.  For more information on how to report to OFSI, please consult Reporting information to OFSI - what to do.

If you believe you are in imminent danger because of what you are reporting then please contact the Police by dialling 999.

If you are in doubt about how any of the above applies to you, we would encourage you to seek independent legal advice.
