This was gathered on Monday, but I failed to post it then...

Feedback from the sensors group regarding the countdown clock at
http://www.timeanddate.com/counters/customcount.html :

- It should be larger
- It needs to be more visually pleasing, it's too bland as is
- Actual clock graphic
- Manageable numbers (the total number of seconds is impressive but
useless)
- Dramatic effect for the final hours of the countdown.

One idea of display the milestone for different groups:

We will be using a database to store all the different milestones
dates of each team, and the clock will automatically choose the
closest one to display on the wall.

Yeah, and a checklist eventually too, would be nice...

On a second thought, displaying the closest milestone may not be so good. If 2 milestones are different by only 1 day, then only 1 team will be feeling the "time elapse" from the clock.

BTW, what exactly will this checklist contain?

The milestones all supposed to be Wednesdays, so they'll either be on the same day, or a week apart, which should be no problem.

The checklist would have the items and features listed for the release.  It'd be up to the team to add them and I suppose it would be optional.

The checklist could actually get pretty messy if two or three are on the same day though... hm

For the checklist, we can add some tags or buttons to represent the teams that will be releasing the milestones, and then when the mouse move over the tags or buttons, a pop-up kind of window show up, or like a drop-down list, whichever way you want it. I think that can be done either in a webapp way or just within the flash.
