Hello,

This is to remind you that your second academic year ends in July 2013. You are expected to

submit your theses by 20th June 2013 if you want to graduate this year. Those that submit their

theses beyond 20th June 2013 will be considered for graduation in 2014 (subject to the outcome

of your oral defense, of course).

If by July 31st you have not submitted your theses then you will be granted an extension of up to 

December 31st. If by December 31st you will be granted another extension up to June 2014. You 

can only get up to two extensions. For each extension you are required to pay an equivalent of USD375.00.

Let me urge those that are writing their theses (and even those that are working on their proposals) to

do a good job. Theses do get a failing grade. It is not only about submitting a thesis. That's why we only

accept a thesis after your supervisor has passed it. Do not trick your supervisors to submit work that is

not ready for submission. You will be disappointed at the viva.

On another note, some of you still have outstanding balances on your tuition fees. Please note that you

can only graduate after paying your tuition and any extension fees in full.

Please note that fees and any balances now must be paid through the Faculty of Science account:

Bank/Branch:                       National Bank of Malawi

                                           Zomba Branch

After paying your fees or balance take with you the deposit slip to the accounts department at Chancellor

College who will issue you a receipt a copy of which must be given to the department's secretary.
