Migrating to a new IQ community Forum

Hi IQ Users !

The actual Community website was built using Drupal 5, some 12 years ago.

Needless to say, it is no longer supported... and recently some rather basic things were broken (namely search and user settings)

So we've rebuilding using the latest and greatest Drupal version (9.1)

Things are progressing well, but like they say, it ain't done until it's done

I'll update this post as things progress. Currently:

• Drupal 9.1 is running on a temporary website
• Users accounts have been transferred. Passwords could not be transferred, so all account will have the same password, tmpPass
• Content (forum, book, blog) and comments were retrieved and in the process of transferring to the new website. That is the most critical part of course !

Once that is done, what remains is:

1. Build a similar UI
2. Test
3. Move to the production website
4. Test
