Hello All!

I am currently working on two projects:

Project 1:
I  am directing a reading of a new play, Mourning Glory, by  playwright, Tash Hawthrone, for NEC, The reading will be on Wednesday, March 30th at 7pm. There will be one rehearsal on Sunday, March 27 Pay involved. Looking for the following roles:
MASTER PHILLIP BENNETT
White Plantation owner; mid 50s-60; Josephine’s owner; physically large and possesses a commanding presence; torn between constitutional law and his heart; mean alcoholic.

SPRING EVANS    (actress doesn't have to actually be 13, just look young)
a slave; about to turn 13; fair/light skinned (if possible); Josephine’s daughter by Master Bennett; treading on the unsteady waters of puberty; naiive, curious to know who her father is; overprotective of her mother.

Project 2:
I am doing casting for a major Diversity Training corporation. The diversity they provide for corporate clients requires not only the ability to present scripted scenes, but also the ability to improvise--staying in character and interacting directly with the training audience while responding to their diversity-related comments and questions. A key priority for this company is to reflect the people and the culture of the organizations it works with, so corporate attire is necessary. AUDITIONS WILL BE THIS FRIDAY, MARCH 18. Looking for the following types:
African-American Male, later 20's to late 30's
Asian Female, 20's to early 30's
White Male, 40's to 50's
