Dear Friends,
We'd like to invite you and a guest to attend the Shakespeare Society's first Major Evening Event this coming Monday, October 15 at 7pm. We've got an exciting lineup and would like to offer you and your staff complimentary tickets to this exclusive event:
The Shakespeare Society presents "Shakespeare at the Opera: Robert Lepage & The Tempest" at the Kaye Playhouse. This evening of readings, opera, and conversations is a collaboration with the Metropolitan Opera focusing on the premiere of the THE TEMPEST on October 23. Featuring a conversation with visionary director ROBERT LEPAGE and performances by Met Opera singers: ROD GILFRY as Prospero (from the Quebec production), principal artists ALEK SHRADER as Ferdinand, ISABEL LEONARD as Miranda, LAURE MELOY as Ariel, and ADAM KLEIN as Caliban with MET Assistant conductor MATTHEW AUCOIN. This event will also feature commentary by Notre Dame's PETER HOLLAND and readings from the play by SETH NUMRICH (War Horse), RON CEPHAS JONES (Richard III), and SAMANTHA SOULE (Dinner at Eight). For more information visit: http://www.shakespearesociety.org/upcoming-events.html
To set up your complimentary tickets, please call (212) 967-6802 or email mpal...@shakespearesociety.org by Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. Please feel free to forward this to your staffs. Please keep in mind tickets are first come first serve and subject to availability.
We hope you can join us and discover what The Shakespeare Society is all about!
