Dear all,

You are invited to see THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN, an epic work told in three separate parts.  Please feel free to forward this offer to your staff and acting companies.

THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN

Through the eyes of 12 leading British and American playwrights and the voices of those actively involved in the war and on U.S. & NATO policy in Afghanistan, The Tricycle Theatre Company’s THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN explores, in three separate thrilling and provocative evenings, the culture and history of Afghanistan since Western involvement in 1842 to the present day.   All three parts can be seen separately and do not need to be experienced in chronological order. This ambitious political and theatrical event was nominated for an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement and was proclaimed “an inspirational highlight of the year!” by The Independent

For more information in each part and the stories told in the play, please visit http://thegreatgameonstage.org/.

==================================

Hi everyone,

I'm working with the National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC– famous for McGruff the Crime Dog) and the U.S. Department of Justice to create an online video about why people shouldn't illegally download music, movies and software. We want to “put a face” on the issue by featuring an up and coming musician who, while performing on the street, sees some of his/her fans take money out of the basket.

We're still looking for the right person to play our "street musician" so if you know anyone who might be appropriate please contact me or forward this email and have them contact me ASAP.

STREET MUSICIAN:
Looking for up and coming musician with original song to feature in PSA. Must be able to play/sing live on set– great if a studio recording of song also exists. Lyrics must be in english. Pay is modest. Will provide food and copy.

Shoot: Thursday 12/16/10
Location NYC TBA

Please send all inquiries to mar...@gmail.com

This video will be posted on NCPC and other websites that reach our target of teens and adults age 14+. We may also plan to use a :30-second version as an on-air broadcast PSA for use on local TV stations and cable outlets across the country.

Thanks,
Eddie Martinez
