$650 two weeks in February
Looking for a beautiful, spacious, bright apartment in Manhattan for a couple of weeks in mid February? Convenient to midtown? Close to parks and the Hudson? Don't want to pay through the nose?
What's the catch? We have a lovely, sweet adopted kitty that we can't take with us for a short gig.
You would just need to make sure she's fed and that someone's checking in on her.
We're lowering the rent, throwing in utilities, and internet we would just love for someone to enjoy our space and make sure Matti's safe at home and not too lonely.

The second half of our season will be dedicated exclusively to new
play development. To that end, the DQT has initiated a six month
Playwrights/ Directors Lab. Over the course of that time, our member
playwrights pair with a director and take their first drafts through
four separate stages:
To start with, THE FIRST TWENTY pages of each play is presented to the
Lab. We all participate in a lively discussion of what we just saw and
heard. Both the playwright and director take notes. Next, we TABLE
READ THE FIRST ACT and again their lively discussion, with the
playwright and director taking notes. The third stage is the FORMAL
READING of the entire play; and, at this point, we schedule a
rehearsal (s) and encourage some elements be introduced (blocking,
etc). Finally, THE SCRIPT-IN-HAND is afforded to each. Again, there is
a scheduled rehearsal (s) and even more elements alchemized into the
presentation. Lively discussion follows these last two phases too. The
aim of the Lab is to introduce collaboration early on in the
development of the play; so, that the playwright isn’t writing in a
vacuum.
Naturally, actors participate in every stage of presentation and are
encouraged to participate in the discussions. Since, we are limiting
the Lab to once-a-month, the time commitment is modest. Further,
rehearsal time will be kept to a minimum. Actors will be paid a small
travel stipend, as per the AEA Showcase Code. All final decisions on
payment are at the discretion of DQT.
The Lab will meet at the Theatre for the New City ( 155 First Avenue )
on the last Saturday of each month through June.
