DataMigrator 7.6.7 are Now Available

Information Builders' WebFOCUS release 7.6.7 is now production. This
announcement covers WebFOCUS Web Components, Reporting Server,
Developer Studio as well as DataMigrator. This service pack release of
7.6.7 includes fixes and enhancements that augment prior 7.6.x
releases.

-------------------
Extends the power of WebFOCUS, providing users with the most advanced
– yet simple to use – ad hoc reporting capabilities available today.
With WebFOCUS InfoAssist, business users have access to all the
features they need to generate even the most intricate reports and
analyses on their own. Contact your local Information Builders account
manager to learn how this new capability can be licensed and enabled.
Flexible and Powerful Report Generation
WebFOCUS InfoAssist allows business users to leverage state-of-the-art
ad hoc functionality to:
* Generate highly complex reports, charts, and documents from any
enterprise information source – without IT intervention
* Rapidly complete basic tasks, such as building a simple query
* Easily progress to more sophisticated activities such as publishing
and sharing documents
* Rapidly search for and locate data in cubes and other
multidimensional sources, such as Oracle Essbase, Microsoft SQL Server
Analysis Services, and the SAP Business Information Warehouse, via a
simplified interface that is easier and faster than traditional cube
browsers
* Convert reports to charts or charts to reports in a single click
* Create and analyze multiple reports and charts simultaneously, and

Active Reports – Integration with Adobe(R) Flex(R)/Flash(R)

Active Reports encapsulate data and interactive controls into a single
HTML file or a single Adobe Flex/Flash file that is self-contained,
enabling report consumers to manipulate the contents into diverse
report permutations on their own. The ability to forward these reports
to other users without any network or device constraints improves
efficiency and facilitates collaborative decision-making.
Information Builders recognizes the value of rich internet
applications (RIAs) and engaging interfaces, which are now the norm
rather than the exception. WebFOCUS Active Reports and its analytic
capabilities can be combined with the RIA technology in Adobe Flex to

Installation Notes
------------------
WebFOCUS Client Release 7.6.7 and Developer Studio Release 7.6.7 may
be applied as a service pack on top of a pre-existing 7.6.1 or later
7.6.x installation. If you are currently running 7.6.0, you should do
a full install of 7.6.7 into a new directory and migrate your 7.6.0
configuration to 7.6.7. To migrate from 7.6.0 and preserve your
Managed Reporting repository and Dashboard views and customizations,
do not uninstall 7.6.0. Follow the instructions in How to Migrate
WebFOCUS 7.6.0 to 7.6.x
