The photo exhibition ‘Thrive in the Wild Women’s Tale’ by Bangladeshi adventurer Muntasir Mamun is a tale of Bangladeshi women in adventure sports. Tradition and culture tend to come in their way, but in the end they don’t hold these women back; in fact some of them are extraordinarily outspoken and out boundless for thrive.
Muntasir Mamun: “Adventure and sports teach you to face the challenges of life much better and with more grit. I believe that they are the best tools to help a person to overcome all kind of fears, internal as well as external, directly and indirectly”.
The photographs include walking in the city, touring on a bicycle, trekking in the hills, climbing the mighty Himalaya and many more. The whole exhibition will be curated by prominent Bangladeshi photographer Paul David Barikdar.
