May be the whale is still alive, if so, Let us know!

As we know a group of travelers from BTEF have found an entangled whale (a Bryde’s whale) in the Bay of Bengal during the mid of February. Till that time we were trying to get some help to rescue that wounded whale. As it is something really new, we could not sort out the process within this short time. But it was possible to initiate a search team to follow the wounded whale in Swatch of no ground from 4th to 6th March. Due to very bad weather the search and rescue team could not see any whale during that time. But they have informed the local fishermen about the whale and in case of any finding, S&R team will move forward.

Meanwhile, within this very short time, we could raise the issue to the very top of management, IFAW, The OC, GlobalGarbage, Gobal Voice and many other blogs around the world.

Acknowledgement:
without the help of adventureBD (a googlegroup) it could be a tough job to drum the news up towards the mass, uttorshuri, iutialas, Togetherweare.net, many other micro bloggers, Nature.com, The Daily Star, Global Garbage, Ocean Conservancy, Members of Kewkradong FB group, BTEF.

Rezwan vai, without his help and superb advocacy, our small initiative could not reach up to Reuters, Global Voice, IndiaTimes and many alike.

Easy way to find the coverage on internet, please find through the google key word " Save the wounded whale/ wounded whale / swatch of no ground"
