Kedves LMBT Támogatók,
Az Amnesty levélíró akciót indított az október 10-i Belgrád Pride támogatására, amiben felszólítjuk a szerb hatóságokat (elnök, miniszterelnök, belügy- és igazságügyminiszter), hogy a törvényeknek megfelelően biztosítsák a menet megfelelő rendőri védelmét ill. indítsanak nyomozást minden olyan attrocitás ügyében amely a felvonulókat vagy az LMBT-közösséget érheti.
Kérjük hogy az alábbi mail elküldésével támogassátok ti is az LMBT emberek gyülekezési és szólásszabadsághoz való jogát!
Az Amnesty LMBT csoportjától 4 aktivistánk lesz kint, és még számos ember a magyar LMBT szervezetektől, úgyhogy ez a mail egyben az ő védelmüket is szolgálja.
Kérjük ha tudjátok küldjétek el barátaitoknak/ismerőseiteknek, köszönjük!

Dear Mr. President/Prime Minister / Minister of Justice / Minister of Interior,
As a member of Amnesty International, I am concerned at the increasing threats made against the participants and organisers of the upcoming Belgrade Pride, which as you probably know, will be held on 10 October.
Futhermore, I would like to draw your attention to the importance of your obligations, which ensure that participants in the Belgrade Pride are guaranteed their rights to freedom of assembly,expression and association.
And last but not least, I must note that the protection of the participants and organisers of Belgrade Pride from physical attact and abuse are as important as prompt , impartial and effective investigations against any persons suspected of making threats or attacks against the organisers and participants in the Belgrade Pride.
I hope my letter will contribute to promote LGBT rights, so that LGBT persons can fully and freely enjoy their right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression.

Október 10-én várhatóan 9 év után első alkalommal kerül megrendezésre a Belgrád Pride. Az Amnesty International a Belgrád Pride napjának közeledtével aggodalmát fejezte ki, hogy jobb oldali csoportok egyre inkább fenyegető diskurzusokhoz folyamodnak a közterületeken és az interneten. A szervezet már a homoszexuális jogokat képviselő személyek megfélemlítését célzó kísérletekről is tudomást szerzett.
HÁTTÉR
A múlt eseményeit alapul véve kijelenthetjük,hogy az LGBT tagok számára nincs biztosítva a gyülekezéshez, egyesüléshez, és véleménynyilvánításhoz való joguk Szerbiában. Ugyanis, a jobb oldali és vallási szervezetektől érkező komoly fenyegetettségek miatt, az LGBT közösség 2001 óta képtelen volt megtartani a Pride Day Parade-et Szerbiában.
A múlt évben jobb oldali csoportoktól érkező fenyegetésekre hivatkozva , a hatóságok az utolsó pillanatban megtagadták a résztvevők biztosítását a városközponton áthaladó megbeszélt útvonalon, így tervezett Belgrade Pride felvonulásra nem került sor. Mindemellett, a nemzetközi jogi követelmények ellenére, a fenyegetésekért felelős személyek sem kerültek bíróság elé.
A 2010-ben szélső jobb oldali csoportok egyre inkább fenyegető diskurzushoz folyamodnak a menethez vezető közterületeken. Sajnos, fenyegetések is elhangoztak az ez évi Pride résztvevőinek és szervezőinek irányába az interneten keresztül,úgy a facebookon is. Valamint az utcákon a Pride ellen tüntető graffitik mellett, szélső jobboldali vezetők a Pride ellen szóló fenyegető nyilatkozatai is napvilágot láttak a médiában.
A fenyegetések súlyosságát is figyelembe véve, továbbra is nagyon fontos a Pride szervezőinek nyílt támogatása, azzal hogy figyelmeztetjük a hatóságokat arra, hogy a nyilatkozataikat konkrét akciók követik.
AZ AI MAGYARORSZÁG
Az AI Magyarország hosszú távú célja, hogy az LMBT (leszbikus, meleg, biszexuális és transznemű) személyek szabadon és békében gyakorolhassák gyülekezési, egyesülési és önkifejezési jogaikat.
Kampánycéljaink közé tartozik többek között, hogy a Meleg Pride felvonulások békésen kerüljenek megrendezésre és a résztvevők hatékony védelemben részesüljenek az ellentüntetők homofób támadásai és gyűlöletbeszédei ellen.(http://web.amnesty.hu/lmbt/ )
A Belgrade Pride-on az AI 20 fővel fogja képviseltetni magát főleg a szomszédos országokból (AI Horvátország, AI Szlovénia, AI Magyarország, AI Görögország) érkező aktivistákkal, munkatársakkal, hogy kifejezze a mozgalom iránti elkötelezettségét a szerbiai LMBT tagok felé. Amnesty International is concerned that right wing groups may increasingly resort to threatening discourse in the public domain, leading up to the march and on the internet .The organization has already learnt of attempts to intimidate individual gay rights activists.
BACKGROUND
As it can be seen from the past, the LGBT community and their supporters are not guaranteed the rights to freedom to assembly, expression and association in Serbia.Since 2001 the LGBT community in Serbia has been unable to hold a Pride Day parade due to serious threats from right-wing and religious organizations.
Last year, the Belgrade Pride march, which was scheduled for September 2009, did not take place after the authorities at the last moment refused to provide security to the Pride participants on the agreed route through the city centre because of threats from right-wing groups.
In 2010 far-right groups have been increasingly restoring to threatening discourse in the public domain, leading up to the march.Sadly, threats against organisers and participants of this jear\'s pride were posted on the internet, including on facebook.Futhermore, besides the graffitis calling againts the Pride, there have been threatening media statemenets by far-rights group leaders in the media.
Taking into account the scale and seriousness of the threats, it is important to continue providing public support to the Pride organisers urging the authorities to ensure that their declaration are followed by concrete actions.
AI HUNGARY
AI Hungary\'s aim is to promote LGBT rights, so that LGBT persons can fully and freely enjoy their right to peaceful assembly and freedom of expression. (http://web.amnesty.hu/lmbt/ )
There will be a small (about 20 people) AI presence at the march on 10 October, composed mainly of AI staff member from\"neighbouring\" countries (AI Croatia, AI Slovenia,AI Hungary, AI Greece) in order to express the movement\'support and assistance for the LGBT people in Serbia.
Furthermore, we ask you to take actions by sending e-mails to Serbian authorities and your country\'s embassy.
