Assalaamu Alaykum WRWB
We are saddened to announce the passing away of Br Athar Hashmi, father of sister Faiza Hashmi and father-in-law of Dr Syed Masood Ahmed. He got sick with COVID after Eid al Adha and passed away earlier this morning in Karachi, Pakistan. Inna lillahay wa inna ilahay rajoon
We pray to Allah (swt) to shower his mercy on the deceased soul, forgive his shortcomings, grant him highest place in Jannah and give sabr to the family, Ameen!

We also like to request to make Dua e Shifa for sister Faiza's mother, Maher Hashmi. She also has COVID and is in quarantine: 'O Allah, Lord of mankind, do away with her suffering. Heal her as You are the only Healer and there's no cure except that is Yours, it is that which leaves no ailment behind' (Al Bukhari).
