The Al Aqsa Community Center is deeply saddened to announce the passing away of Br Kazi Ahmed Mohiuddin Afzal. He was uncle of our dear Iman Hafiz Syed Ahmed Qadri. Our condolences to Imam Qadri's family.
Janaza will be today, Monday, May 17, 2021 at MCC Chicago and burial at Rosehill Cemetery: 5800 N Ravenswood Ave, Chicago, IL 60660.
We pray that Allah Subha'nahu Wa' t'ala may bestow His forgiveness and mercy upon him and grant him a place in Jannat al Firdous. We pray to Allah SWT to give patience to the deceased's family, relatives and friends.
O Allah, forgive Br Kazi Ahmed Mohiuddin Afzal and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for his grave and shed light upon him in it.
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.”
