Systems Programmer II
The University of Iowa

Information Technology Services provides computing support for
the University of Iowa. We have an opening for a Systems
Programmer II.
Primary responsibility is to provide systems administration
support for UNIX systems. Requires a Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science or related field or equivalent UNIX
expertise. Prior work experience must include UNIX systems
and TCP/IP network administration. Must have C programming
experience. Perl and shell programming experience is
desirable. Ideal candidates will have experience with
multiple versions of UNIX, sendmail, NFS, X windows,
troubleshooting, and software installations. Candidates must
have good communication, teamwork, organizational, and problem
solving skills. Job requires wearing pager as well as
providing some 24x7 oncall support. Resume screening begins
