Someone on my campus (The University of Iowa) is looking for
listservs that would reach faculty who may be interested in
learning how to create computer-controlled multi-media
instructional materials to teach undergraduates in the
sciences and engineering. She is especially interested in
helping faculty develop teaching materials that would support
learning by women and minority students, and is developing a
grant proposal for this project.
I know that many of us on WISENET and WEPAN-L know of faculty
members who might be interested in such an opportunity, if it
were made available. Thus, I suggested these two lists as
ways to reach interested faculty. However, I am sure that
there are other discipline-specific listservs that would
directly reach faculty in biology, chemistry, geology,
physics, engineering, etc. that might also be likely
prospects.
If you know of such a listserv (even a closed one that you may
be able to post to, please send the list address to Judy Brown
at:
judy-...@uiowa.edu
Please do not send the address to me using a reply function,
as I am leaving town, and will not be able to forward messages
in a timely fashion.
Thanks for your help! Aren't listservs wonderful?
