Faculty Position in Engineering

The Engineering Program at Hope College invites applications for a one-year
faculty position to teach undergraduate mechanical engineering courses
during the 1996-97 school year. The engineering program offers a range of
engineering courses designed to prepare students for direct entry in to
engineering graduate school. The engineering courses offered include solid
mechanics, materials, CAD, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, electronics,
controls and design. The expectations are that this one-year person will
teach 12 contact hours of courses and labs. The successful candidate will
have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and a demonstrated interest in high
quality under-graduate teaching. Industrial experience is desirable. To
