LAST CALL for PAPERS + DEADLINE EXTENSION + PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION
=============================================================================

***** CADEX '96 ****

International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Aided Design

In view of the negotiations we were happy to finalize with the IEEE CS Press
for the publication of the proceedings, which will allow a shorter period of
production, we are glad to announce a further and final extension of the
deadline to May 31.

We encourage all authors who could not make the previous deadline, as well as
other interested contributors, to submit their papers.

We apologize for the "rush" the current authors had to put up with to meet
the previous deadline, but this decision is for the good of the community,
and the publication by the prestigious IEEE CS Press will be an added benefit
to all.

SUBMISSION OF CONTRIBUTIONS
=======================================

Paper submissions should be at least an extended abstract (preferably full form)
.
Any format is accepted but authors already wanting to follow the conference's
should request the guidelines, providing a fax number and/or street adress.

The submissions should reach the chair until May 31.

In order to speed up the reviewing process, authors MAY be asked to set up,
as far as possible, electronic versions of the paper, to be accessed by
ftp or www.

There will be two groups of contributed papers : refereed and unrefereed. The
refereed papers will obviously be research contributions, marked as such in the
proceedings, and will be considered for publication in the journals indicated
above, and, as far as possible, in other publications. The other group (simply
reviewed) will mainly be the educational and application papers and other
interesting contributions in the form of panels and demonstrations.

Final communication of acceptance will be given until June 15. The final
manuscript shall be received by the IEEE CS Press until June 30.

The full version of papers in the unrefereed category (application, education,
panels, demonstrations) will be reviewed and any necessary corrections or change
s
will be communicated accordingly in due time.
