1157: WEB WORLD: Multimedia Apps On The Internet
From: Richard Ferrara <7440...@compuserve.com>
January 30 - February 1, 1995
Walt Disney Dolphin, Orlando, FL
April 19 - 21, 1995
Santa Clara Convention Center, CA
As the fastest growing facet of the Internet, this technology is
something that no corporate entity can afford to ignore. Just as the
fax revolutionized the way we communicate, so has electronic
communication via the Internet. The World Wide Web, enabled by
NCSA Mosaic and similar browser technologies, allows
information in a variety of formats to be accessed and processed by
users of all levels. Modern companies will inevitably be drawn into
this exciting new medium both through the desire to disseminate
their information via the Web and through the need to access the
incredible resources available.
DCI is pleased to sponsor this premier three day industry
conference. Chaired by Dr. Jay C. Weber, Director of Research and
Development at EIT Corporation, the conference will show you how
your business can use Web technology to gain a competitive edge.
You will learn how to find what is available, get a jump on how to
build your own Web applications, and let people know you are there.

9001: General FlashBack/SunFlash Information
This article contains general information about the electronic
journals that I edit and publish: "SunFlash" , "The Sun
FlashBack" and "The Internet Sun FlashBack"
I produced "The Florida SunFlash" for nearly six years.
"SunFlash" is the continuation of that journal. When "SunFlash"
grew to about 100 articles per month, 140,000+ subscribers and
30,000+ article requests per month I decided that it was time to
make some changes. For a variety of reasons, I started the two
new journals, "The Sun FlashBack" and "The Internet Sun
FlashBack" , and moved production of all three journals to an
independent company with its own resouces and Internet domain
(FlashBack.COM).
My goal, as always, is to provide useful, timely, high-quality
information to the Sun user community.
