mount a cd rom

Hi, Sun managers:

I got a sun netra-i I5-110 a month ago. I have tried to mount a CD rom and
failed. There is no vold deamon. Also, I can't find /etc/rc2.d/S*volmgt
file, where * indicates number. If I mounted the CDROM by issuing the
following command,

mount -F hsfs -o ro /dev/rdsk/c0t6d0s2 /cdrom

I got /dev/rdsk/c0t6d0s2 is not a block device. Can anybody help me? Many
