Hello,
We are currently using Custmized Jumpstart to do network installations of
Solaris 2.5. We have one installation server and a boot server on each subnet.
Our installations work fine at our local site.
We now need to install some machines at remote sites. At those sites, I will
set up boot servers but I need for the machines to install from the install
server at our site.
My question:
Since we our separated from the remote sites by a number of routers, how
will the client machines know how to reach my install server during the
installation process since they will not have a route defined? Can this
information be passed to the client from the bootserver somehow?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
