Running on a SPARCcenter 2000 with only one system board 0, we took off a
SCSI SBus card and put in its place a controller card for a SPARCstorage
Array. We rebooted with a "-r" and cannot access the SSA controller. When
entering at the OK prompt a "show-devs", it shows the controller but when the
system is booted, the controller does not show up. Is there anything in
NVRAM that we need to delete - such as the old SCSI controller info ? If so,
how do we do it ? We have deleted the old devices within the kernel -
Solaris 2.4. HELP !
We are not the only ones having this problem. Another system took off a SCSI
card and replaced it with a serial card and they cannot use the serial card
at all no matter what they do.
