Hi all.

I've been working on a lot of non-SNMP stuff lately, but am trying to keep
aware of what's going on. So, could anyone tell me the status of the
latest set of SNMP RFCs (in the 1900 range, I believe)?

Also (if someone has the time and inclination) could you briefly explain
what the general changes are in the new RFCs as compared to the SNMPv1
and/or SNMPv2 (April 1993) RFCs.

Thanks for any info.

-Mark

The party model was got rid of. They go back to community-based
framework (i.e. the original snmp framework). You can look into the
spring topic of web site (http://cs.wpi.edu/~tep). I collect tons of
information about current status of snmp.

Hope it helps.
