Does anyone have experience using a MacIvory Model III in a Quadra 650?
A Quadra 800?

I'm wondering if it will work in those boxes.

Thanks,
Greg Anderson

I have a model III in a Quadra 800 which I still use at home.

According to the notes I have from testing that was done either at
Symbolics or the Apple Compatibility Labs, the model 3 will work in both
machines with the following restrictions:

In both Quadras, the model 3 must be at hardware revision level 20.1 or higher.

In the 650, a model 3 with daughter cards (i.e., FPA, additional memory)
will not fir in the rightmost NuBus slot.

In the 800, a model 3 with a memory daughter card will not fit in the
topmost slot. However, a model 3 without daughter cards or with an FPA
daughter card will fit in that slot.
