Converting groups to Eudora nicknames

Some people have inquired how to convert NUPop groups to Eudora nicknames.
With PC-Eudora, this is fairly straightforward, since the formats of the two
systems are very similar. In NUPop, you have entries in the form

groupname1
address1
address2
...

groupname2

etc. The format for Eudora is

<groupname1>
>address1
>address2
...
<groupname2>

etc. After the groups are converted, just add the converted text to the
nndbase.txt file in the Eudora directory. Eudora will recreate the
nndbase.toc file when it is started. If I get time, I will make up a Perl
script for handling this, and post it here (unless someone beats me to it!)
etc. (no blank lines).
