Once again I apologize to all of you who received duplicate copies of the
messages I posted on Sunday to the NUPop mailing list. The mail loop
problem has been eliminated. However, the list management software I was
using does not run on the new machine -- the old machine was a Sun, the new
machine is an HP -- so I still cannot process add/drop requests for the
NUPop mailing list.

The most promising approach is to try to convert the list membership to an
HP version of listserv. Since this week is right before the Northwestern
school year starts, and is therefore one of the busiest times of the year
for local systems support personnel, I cannot predict when this conversion
will take place. Please have patience while we try to work this out.
