You might try VISIO (commercial program for Windows) it has the icons and
everything.

My son is a CAD draftsman and uses AutoCAD. I have AutoSketch. And,
there is AutoCAD Lite. All are made by Autodesk, Inc. None are really
tailored to LAN drawings, although all can produce them.
There is a new (to me) product out called ClickNet 2. As an introductory
offer they are including a product called FloorPlan 2.0 (as well as
PhotoFinish 3.0). FloorPlan and/or ClickNet will read the AutoCAD *.DXF
format files already available to you. ClickNet is designed specifically
for diagraming LANs. A collegue is currently evaluating ClickNet...
maybe more in about 3 weeks.
