The IESG has received a request from the IPNG Working Group to consider
the following four Internet-Drafts for the status of Proposed

1. Internet Protocol, Version 6 (IPv6) Specification
2. IP Version 6 Addressing Architecture
3. Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMPv6) for the Internet Protocol
Version 6 (IPv6)
4. DNS Extensions to Support IP Version 6

The IESG will also consider the publication of An Architecture for IPv6
Unicast Address Allocation <draft-ietf-ipngwg-unicst-addr-allo-01.txt>
as an Informational RFC.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action. Please send any comments to the or mailing lists by
July 5, 1995.

I posted the following info to the ipng mailing list, but since an IETF-wide
Last Call on the IPv6 Specification is now underway, I'm repeating it here
on the ietf mailing list, in case any interested reviewers are not on the
ipng list:

> In the less-than-two days since I submitted the latest IPv6 spec as an
> Internet Draft, the following 3 bugs have been brought to my attention.
> Since these are relatively minor problems, I decided not to immediately
> update the internet draft, but rather to wait to see if the IETF Last
> Call turns up any additional problems, and then include all the fixes
> in the RFC version.
> - In the examples of how to lay out options, on page 29, two places
> where it says "Hdr Ext Len=1" should be "Hdr Ext Len=3"
> (reported by Hamid Asayesh).
> - In section 6, Flow Labels, I forgot to include the Priority field
> in the list of fields that must have the same value for all
> packets in the same flow (reported by Markus Jork).
> - The description of what the Jumbo Payload Length field covers
> should be made clearer (reported by Christian Huitema).
