Does anyone have any idea (or simulation results) if gated can handle
500k routes, assuming that there is sufficient memory for them? Do any
of the routing table functions thrash with that many routes? The
routing protocols involved are those in the near-future Internet: bgp,
ospf, some kind of multicasting (non-DVMRP I hope), etc.
I'm assuming that IPv4 with CIDR is used.
