Ruger scope base info needed (MK II auto)

Hi all.

I picked up a 10" blued Mk II last night; I think it'd be a perfect
home for a 2-7X Redfield.

Coupla years ago there was some discussion of what scope base to put
on a Ruger .22 auto pistol. Seems like I must have cleaned up my mail,
'cause I can't find it. :-(

I've narrowed my search down to two choices. The one I need info from
here is the Burris base. I've never seen one. How does is work? Is
it a yoke up front and something fitting in the rear sight, or is it
a drill 'n' tap job? What kind of rings does it use, Weaver style or
Leupold/Redfield/Burris style? Please describe in detail if possible.
