Idaho non-resident concealed handgun licenses

I know that the Legislature made permits available to non-residents
last year on the same basis as to Idahoans (Idaho Code sec. 18-3302).
Has anyone on the list taken advantage of the new law yet? I am about
to request application etc. from the Payette County Sheriff, in the
hopes that I can do all the initial paperwork by mail, and complete
the process when I go to Idaho in July.
