I don't know how many of you noticed it, but Clinton has decided to support
a federal law defining marriage as something involving a man and a woman,
and effectively nuking attempts to legalize homosexual marriage. In
so doing, he is abandoning a core constituency of the Democratic Party
in the hopes of not losing the majority of the voters.

Retaliation by gay activists has already started, and we can certainly
expect to see much of the national media that has been so enthusiastically
supportive of Clinton start to sit on their hands over this issue.
Clinton is about to start suffering the painful straddling problems that
Republicans have about abortion: how do you keep a minority faction of
your party happy, without offending the majority?

Listen carefully, and you can hear Ralph Nader's support rising.
