New Jersey Senate candidate Jon Corzine selected
for Gun Control Hall of Fame

In the latest news on gun control, Wall Street's Jon Corzine has
been selected for inclusion in the Gun Control Hall
of Fame (http://www.vikingphoenix/public/gchof/gchof.htm).

A spokesman for Gun Control Hall of Fame (GCHOF) made the
announcement earlier today.

Democrat Jon Corzine is seeking election to the U.S. Senate by
promoting Universal Gun Registration and Licensing. Corzine is
opposed by four Republicans including Murray Sabrin.

According to an AP story carried by CBS News, the free-spending
Corzine is "a former Goldman Sachs chief executive whose personal
fortune is estimated at $400 million." With $33 million in
expenditures so far, Corzine has already cracked the U.S. Senate
race spending record previously held by Michael Huffington in the
1994 California Senate race.

According to the GCHOF spokesman, Corzine joins a list of famed gun
controllers that includes "Million Mom March organizer Donna
Dees-Thomases, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
Andrew Cuomo, Chinese leader Mao Dzedong, basketball star
Michael Jordan, two Russians tough on crime, Josef Stalin and
Mikhail Gorbachev, and the charismatic German leader Adolf Hitler."

Corzine is not the only New Jersey politician to make the list.
Senator Bill Bradley (D-NJ) was chosen earlier this year when he
revealed his strong gun control position as a presidential candidate.

Since 1998, the ranks of the Gun Control Hall of Fame have dramatically
expanded with the addition of President Bill Clinton and First Lady
Hillary Clinton, director Spike Lee, singer Mandy Patinkin, Senator
Barbara Boxer (D-CA), actress Sharon Stone, actor Sylvester Stallone,
singer Barbra Streisand, supermodel Cindy Crawford and television star
Rosie O'Donnell also being honored.

Last week, a GCHOF spokesman also announced that four American
communists
were selected for inclusion in the Gun Control Hall of Fame. A review of
articles written by Evelina Alarcon, Terrie Albano, Amina Baraka and Tim
Wheeler published in the official Communist Party USA newspaper People's
Weekly World shows the four reds essentially holding the same position
on gun control as Jon Corzine, Bill Bradley, Andrew Cuomo and other
members of the Gun Control Hall of Fame.
