Well on the 7000 the CPU does go up - but I don't feel it's enough
to worry about. The five second rate goes from 20 to 74%, but the one
minute figure only goes from 20 to 23%. I don't like to leave it much
longer, as I already increased the threshold to 2000 but don't have a
good feel for the effect of a large threshold value.

What is the largest threshold other people are using?
