First of all i am using BSDi 3.1.
I notice a file in my home directory with the name .xsession.
This file is a link to the .xinitrc file.
The date of the .xsession link is changing sometimes.
I do not use xwindows, but i have this installed on my BSDi box.
Am i having security problems?
Anyone could help me?
Thanks in advance,
Edson

The date, user, group, mode, and maybe some other inode
information on the symbolic links are those of the directory
they're in. So every time you touch the directory (create or
delete a file, for example), the dates on the directory and the
symbolic links change.

The date of symlinks on bsd/os 3.x and newer is the date the directory
was last modified.
