Paul, are you planning to distribute a P2 patch for 4.9.3-REL? On the one
hand, the current 4.9.3-P1 release seems a little too shaky. On the other
hand the 4.9.4 releases are still in beta with new features going in, and
I'm not sure I want to be on the bleeding edge when it comes to starting
to enforce the rules for DNS names. So currently there doesn't seem to be
anything for those of us that just want a nice solid and unexciting
release of BIND.
[ there will be no P2 for 4.9.3. 4.9.4 is what 4.9.3-P2 got renamed too
when it became too late. 4.9.4 will be out of beta by tomorrow. --vix ]

Paul,
When 4.9.4 comes out, is there a good source you are aware of
to pick up precompiled binaries for it. Sometimes, it is difficult to
compile, especially for the novice-moderatedly skilled bind user. Its
not something you want to screw up. :-)
I'd be looking for a Linux-1.2.13 non-elf (a.out) binary
myself.
Any help/pointers/ftp sites would be appreciated. Thank you.
Fred
