BIND will not start

Greetings,

My NT BIND will not start. It has been running for weeks.

Event Log reports error loading database. A Control Panel start reports:

Unable to start the Domain Name Service: 1053

Is there a list of error messages available?

Is this a permissions issue? I recently adjusted many permissions while
trying to remove Everyone from everywhere.

I would appreciate any help, Jerry.
