to Infinitism; a new religion
If there was to be one religious icon for the Infinitist it would be
the Lemniscate, the symbol of Infinity. Often this symbol is depicted
as a snake eating its own tail.

To consider the nature of infinity means considering the nature of
Oneself. If there are Infinite repercussions to every choice there is
to be made then essentially we must live out the result of every single
variable finitely possible. Consider what is involved in penning a
message such as this one.

The world and all that is in it must exist an infinite number of times
simply so that we may write this message in every possible way, in blue
type or in red, on laptop or on desktop, each word or comma placed or
spelt or pronounced differently. Moreover we must exist an infinite
number of times so that we may have gained the knowledge and insight
and life experience that has led us to the point when we may begin to
write.

The extent of One, therefore, is infinite too. What you see and hear
of the people around you is merely the extent of those people in this
one branch of this one part of this one reality. Essentially, you are a
fish. Each and every entity is, in one place or another, each other
entity. We can see the implications of this fact whenever we close our
eyes, whenever we dream, whenever we feel a sense of déjà vu.

To feel you have experienced something before should not be so unusual
when you consider that everything that we may experience is experienced
by us an infinite number of times. To die in a dream should not be so
unusual when you consider that to live at all means to die, and to live
an infinite number of times means to die in an infinite number of ways.
And though a human may drown, a fish may find it difficult.
